Afghan American Muslim Outreach (AAMO) is headquartered
in Orange County and has been incorporated in the State
of California as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that
is committed to serve the Afghan communities through activism
and advocacy initiatives and fostering an Afghan American
Muslim identity and good will and mutual respect amongst
all.
As we eagerly welcome the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, Afghan American Muslim Outreach (AAMO) wishes all of our
supporters an accepted and purifying fast. We pray that Ramadan is a time of spiritual renewal for all of you, a time when
you are able to fully benefit from the many miracles that have been offered to the worshipper during this most special season.
O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those who preceded you; that perhaps you will be
mindful of God. Al-Qur’an 2:183
We encourage everyone to be especially generous during this blessed month. Our beloved Prophet (saw), was normally exceedingly generous.
Ibn ‘Abbas, May Allah be pleased with him and his father, relates: “The Prophet (saw), was the most generous of people.
He was even more generous in Ramadan when Gabriel would meet him and review the Qur’an with him. Gabriel would come to him every night of
Ramadan to review the Qur’an. During these times, the Messenger of Allah (saw), was more generous than the freely blowing wind.” Al-Bukhari and Muslim
With your generous donation, AAMO can continue to provide quality educational conferences, financially support two satellite television
programs: Sadaye Haq (Simin Omar) and Dariche Farda (Marwa Latif), and host community picnics throughout the year.
Lastly, with our new Chairman, Ustad Fazl Ghani Mogaddedi on board, we have ambitious projects in the works and your assistance
will inshallah help to launch these efforts.
Again, AAMO wishes you a very successful Ramadan and would like to thank all of you for past, present and future support inshallah. Ramadan Mubarak!
