We would like to express our most sincere and heartfelt condolences and sympathy to
Sister Simin Omar and family for the sudden and tragic loss of her son, Masood Jan.
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'oon. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return
We ask Allah (swt) to shower his soul with His mercy and to grant him Paradise. We pray that
Allah (swt) will enrich Simin Jan and the entire family with the quality of patience.
We really cannot express our deep sorrow and shock for the sudden death of your beloved son,
Masood Jan due to a car accident. May Allah (swt) accept him as a Shahid and grant him the
highest levels of paradise. We know, you as a mother and Sr. Pashtana as a sister and the
rest of the family members are going through tremendous pain and suffering as a result of this
awful tragedy, BUT being a strong Muslim and your strong faith in Allah (swt), your perseverance
and patience will Insha Allah become a waseela (tool) for gaining lots of Hajr and rewards in both
lives.
We will continue making Duaa for him and all of you. Our thoughts and our hearts are with you.
Again, may Allah Ta'ala make his qabr amongst the gardens of Jannah. Ameen

More than 750 people participated at AAMO
conference in Bay Area (
Farsi)
(FREMONT, CA, 2/17/08) - Over 750 people turned out on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008 for the
special conference on "Family In Islam" organized by the Afghan American Muslim Outreach
(AAMO). The keynote address was delivered by our well known scholar, Dr. Abdul Sattar Sirat.
He reflected on the wives of our beloved Prophet Mohammad (saw), the mothers of the believers.
Other speakers included Ustad Abdul Shakoor Mahjoor, Imam Zaid Shakir, Imam Sadullah Khan,
Dr. Hamdullah Sayedi, Dr. Arshad Ershad, Ustad Fazl Ghani Mogaddedi, and Qari Safiulllah
Samady, Dr. Fakhrnisa Faizani Yousefzai, Sr. Amina Jandali, Sr. Ronal Popal, Br. Munir Qtaish,
